Hi, I’m Daisy. I’m a Certified Wellness Coach and Yoga Teacher based in Santa Monica, California. My passion is to help those who feel lost by reconnecting them with their purpose so they can live a good-ass life and pass the good vibes forward.

About Daisy

Why do I create?

I create to access the places where my words cannot fully capture what my heart feels. In this practice (art?) I learn and am constantly reminded there is not one without the other. With frustration comes peace, with confusion comes clarity, and in experiencing both sides of these emotions, I arrive in a place of oneness, appreciation, of understanding. My work in this life is to be the brightest light I can be to find the courage to look at my shadowed pieces and once I do, I see they transform into light.

These raw emotions are what makes us human, and our connection to this place brings us presence. It is here where we meet our beauty and gather love. In this journey comes the natural progression of loving those around us as we reflect outwards this light we have found within. Here is where we grow. It is where life happens.

What are you about?

I am a healer and a lover of mother natures’ creations — big and small, and believe we all have a purpose and lesson to learn in each moment as long as we choose to see it. I appreciate the wisdom found in silence, but my deepest love is having soul-balming connections with other beings -- a reminder of our oneness and our individual strengths.

I’m incredibly passionate about empowering and supporting those around me to express their most authentic Self, so they can live each day in balance with more presence, love and connection. When we live aligned with our purpose, we heal ourselves, and create energy and space of healing for those around us as well.

Where did you come from?

I was born and raised in Seattle, and spent the majority of my life there. I found family to be my grounding, but held a strong desire to explore new places. After graduating from university, I decided to start new. I wanted the chance to see who I was without my familiar surroundings, my routines, my friends and family I had spent my whole life around and I went to Beijing. I knew nobody there, which made it easy for me to immerse myself in my work. I traveled wherever my projects took me, and experienced different parts of China, Singapore, and New York City. I was loving the intensity of my life and the experiences I had always dreamed of having.

How did you get here?

Fast forward 8 years, my father was diagnosed with stage-4 stomach cancer. My world was flipped upside-down. I knew things like this happened, but not to seemingly healthy individuals, and not to my dad. Through his illness, I saw the stress he held inside, which manifested in his body, and saw signs of how it manifested in mine. Doctors suggested I take food/allergy sensitivity panels to alleviate any pressures on my immune system, and saw results of how my body was unable to process a shocking number of things.

My healing process began by eliminating the culprits, but I found my mind still racing, and foods on the OK list still causing indigestion. I continued my healing through my yoga practice — bridging mind, body, and spirit to reconnect with my center. I received my RYT (Registered Yoga Teaching) Certification in 2019, and began teaching immediately after. I began holding spaces after and between classes for people to connect with me, and soon I received messages and requests to make this something more official.

“The past is in my head, the present with my heart, and the future is in our hands.”

There is freedom in knowing we have the choice in how we respond to challenging situations in life. I am on my lifelong journey to live as my Highest Self and welcome to join me on our path towards collective healing.

Welcome to the first day of the rest of your life.
